I was going through the TitanRainbow site, as I was doing so I was trying to go through the Space Oddity site but most of the links don't work as they come up not found on this server. Are you guy's trying to move it all? Or is it someplace else-that isn't working at the moment?

LadyTass, It's a combination of things. 1: We've just upgraded our server which means the roll out we're planning will have up to 250MB of content. Previously (IE: recently) we had a cap of 100MB and with the webvideo that meant shutting down parts of the site (the lowest traffic'd parts went first). 2: Now that we've got all this extra space we're reworking a lot of the site to make use of it. The SPACE ODDITY section needed the most work, the TECHNICAL MANUAL, even when reloaded will still need to be upgraded to equal that of the FSQ section. 3: We're working on formatting all the SPACE ODDITY scripts so that the entire library of all 89 scripts will be on-line for people to refer to, but the format they were created in needs a lot of cleaning up before it's postable as webpages (it's one of the reasons we switched programs) So, is there anything in particular you were hoping to see first? And should we remove the things in the SPO pages that are spoilers for FSQ fans? Let us know and thanks, as always, for your thoroughness.

Well the first thing I would get up would be the scripts for people to read, but as I was doing that I would get the links done to the tech manual that way they can flip back and forth to check out the stuff in the tech manual, that comes up in the scripts. That is what I was doing was trying to read through the prologue and flipping back and forth to the links of the tech manual. As for spoilers for the FSQ stuff well Space Oddity did come first so I would expect some spoilers to be there- Kind of like when you read a series of books out of order. I am sure that there are Space Oddity spoilers in FSQ--but that is to be expected. With the two series so intertwined it is going to be hard to keep from doing spoilers on each other.

LADYTASS, Well, your question sparked a fair bit of discussion between everyone and Gary has given the go ahead to reload the original SPACE ODDITY TECHNICAL MANUAL. What this means? Well, it's out of date. The manual was developed as a source for writers, production staff and cast to refer to, but because it was a PRE document changes were made during each stage of the creative process and there are inaccuracies to it. These are being fixed for the relaunch. The concepts behind much of FSQ (IE: Information Management and the behind the scenes politic/intrigue) were not apart of the SPACE ODDITY story thread and so Gary doesn't feel that any spoilers in this version of the Technical Manual will matter much. Also, because the philosophy of I.M. had not yet been developed the SPO TECH MAN is missing a design esthetic that will be added during the relaunch. So the short of it is that we've reloaded the SPO TECH MAN in its original historically curious form, just for you (and anyone else who bothers to go HERE). As for the SPO EPISODE GUIDE and SCRIPTS, well that's just going to have to wait until the relaunch. Sorry.

There wasn't much to the work once it was decided to go ahead, it was just a matter of re-loading it onto the site. Go on, browse, enjoy, find the occassional reference to FINNEGAN'S SQUAD in there.

Hit the link above to the Space Oddity tech manual, when you get there, on the bottom you will see a few icon's go to the one that say's indepth articles(no joking here-lol-) click on that one and look through there, you should find it. Also who is Mitch Finnegan(?) is that an earlier version of our present day hero?

it's sort of funny to read that manual, you can see the beginnings of the design theme for the FSQ one but it's different. Same, but different. does that make sense?
One question: do you think its safe to assume that FSQ's "Rigel Aerospace" is the same as Space Oddity's "RIJL Aerospace"? If so, the SO section fills in a few of the blanks on the FSQ section.
