Malcolm, Congratulations but what is that? A TV series, play or movie? I've never heard of it.

MS. KITKA,
Thank you.
DARCY’S WILD LIFE™ is a new series that should appeal to those who enjoy such fare as LIZZIE McGUIRE™, & will be coming to NBC™ Discovery Kids™ this Autumn.

Well, mucho congrats, Malcolm. Getting a role on an NBC/Discovery Kids show will certainly help you gain more exposure in the American market. Kudos to your agent!
Did you score a one-episode appearance or will this be a recurring role? How many lines do you have? When will filming commence? Enquiring minds want to know.

KJC,
Thank you very much! ;D
It's a single-episode appearance, but there is potential for it to become recurring if the audience responds as strongly as did the Producer & Director; the sides that I was issued for the audition were "Actor" category; the role had become "Principal" category when my agent contacted me to inform me that I had been cast; then he called back a few hours later to inform me that it had been re-written to its original category - which I fully expected.
One can never have overmuch "exposure in the American market" unless one is on trial for murder, & even then, one can make a killing in documentary video sales after being acquitted...or so I'm told....

Good Job Malcolm!! I agree with you that you can never get too much exposure when it comes to American television(though the papparazzi would probably agree as they can never get enough)

Sirona, 'Lizzie McGuire' is a Disney TV series and feature film franchise starring teen sensation Hilary Duff ( www.hilaryduff.com/html_2003/main_site/frameset.htm ). The show is harmless teenage bumblegum fun along the same lines as the Olsen Twins' series of direct to video movies. Not very deep -- but then again, it is from Disney, after all. KJC

SIRONA,
I shall be sure to continue sharing any & all pertinent intel with you, immediately that I receive it.
MY SO-CALLED LIFE™ is a series that I *loved*, partly because it reminded me of all the mistakes I made between grades 7 & 13, including allowing myself to become fixated hopelessly on women like ANGELA CHASE who would not give me the time of day because they were so hung up on blokes like JORDAN CATALANO, who would not give them the time of day because they were too busy getting seduced by women like ANGELA’S friend whose name I cannot recall, the blonde girl with a hippie mother.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
LADYTASS,
Thank you very much.
PAPARAZZI™ looks as though it will be an entertaining little picture, but I shall wait for a DVD rental.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
KJC,
Thank you for the provision of intel to SIRONA.

I agree with your assessment of Papparrazzi--But this time they get a taste of their own medicine(mayhaps it will give a few of the vultures a chance to see what it feels like to be on the other side of the film)

LADYTASS,
Have you always disliked them, or is this phenomenon a backlash from the assassination of LADY DIANA SPENCER?
*************************
TUE. AUG. 17/2004/17:00 E.S.T.
I took delivery of the yellow copy of the DARCY’S WILD LIFE™ script. I was impressed that it had arrived so promptly, within 24h of my being informed that I had been cast.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
WED. AUG. 18/2004/17:47 E.S.T.
The courier telephoned me circa 13:45 to ascertain that I would be here when he delivered the green draft of the DARCY’S WILD LIFE™ script “around 14:30”, so I put off going out on errands to await his arrival.
@ 14:20, he telephoned again to inform me that he would be here “by 15:00” with it.
Finally, @ 16:40, he arrived, full of apologies about the traffic, & wished me well during filming before he left.
I had postponed half a day’s worth of work, but “that’s life in the big city”.

MX, My feelings toward the Papparrazzi have alway's been of dislike by myself, even before the assassination of Princess Diana. Ever since then though it just seems to have gotten worse( now that they found out that they can cause someone's death and get away with it) But there is good news on this front,as Ewen Mcgregor successfully sued a papparrazzi photographer for snapping photo's of him and his family with out consent.There is more on this at BigHairyKev's forum I have taken a URL from there for anyone who wants to check it out. bighairykev.proboards30.com/index.cgi?board=starwars&action=display&thread=1091718212

LADYTASS,
When SIR SEAN CONNERY was filming YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE™ (1967) in Japan, he had paparazzi snapping photographs of him from beneath & above toilet stalls!

MX, Yellow copy, green copy? Do scripts normally come in colors? THU. AUG. 19/2004/13:04 E.S.T.
MS. KITKA,
The first Production Draft of a script is always on white paper.
Whenever extensive script rewrites take place, a new edition is printed up, or supplementary pages are issued in a numerically sequenced sheaf that one must insert into the current copy.
The highest # of rewrites I have ever seen in a script was that for RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE™, which went as follows:
Production Draft – White (JUN. 2/2003)
Incomplete Pink (JULY 2/2003)
Incomplete Blue (JULY 8/2003)
Full Green (AUG. 7/2003)
Full Yellow (AUG. 10/2003)
Incomplete Lilac (AUG. 13/2003)
Incomplete Salmon (SEP. 3/2003)
Incomplete Buff (SEP. 15/2003)
Incomplete Goldenrod (SEP. 18/2003)
Incomplete Double White (OCT. 9/2003)
Rewrites continued up until the final day of shooting, but since they did not affect my own work directly, I was not copied into the loop of distribution thereof.
