Thanks mate! Of course, the "couple of hours" grew into six, completely destroying my plans for the day, but it's all billable hours. The tricky part was trying to coordinate the when/where/what of getting pieces to me this morning on the phone when I awoke without any voice whatsoever, a byproduct of the slight cold I've had most of the week. Re: your post script... if you could send it back to me in similar fashion that it arrived I will happily and gratefully re-imburse you the shipping the next time we're together. cheers, Adam SAT. OCT. 9/2004/21:45 E.S.T.
ADAM,
FUGEDDABOUDIT!
“Billable hours”, how very L.A. LAW™!
Take whatever measures you need to restore your health soonest, as I have found that loss of one’s voice is a symptom which generally precedes pneumonia.
POST SCRIPTUM: Acknowledged, wilco!

You might have something there with the lose of voice... for the last forty-eight hours my chest has been aching and I've been coughing up no end of nastiness, keeping both Jen and I awake at night. No fever though, which is a good thing. I *am* taking it easy though, and my mother-in-law kept me well fed over the holiday . cheers, Adam

ADAM,
I’m impressed that you have remained fever-free over the course of your current malady.
I have no doubt that you’re “taking it easy” as an 1l™ Hour™ Miracle Worker™ can do, & you should *definitely* keep that mother-in-law.

Thanks to both of you. She's a very "un-grandmotherly" mother-in-law in all other respects, but wouldn't leave me alone unfed, despite my lack of appetite . The worse of the LotD work seems behind me wth nothing left but the invoicing, and only a couple of custom pieces remain at the top of the queue... once I get past the next week and a half before my store opening I should be able to "take it easy" a little more seriously (assuming another LotD emergency doesn't arise ). I'm genuinely (and uncharacteristically) looking forward to quieter times... cheers, Adam

ADAM,
That is excellent news, congratulations, mate!
I hope that you manage to get in a fair amount of business prior to Hallowe’en.
I shall be wearing your work in my debut performance with the Percussion Ensemble, later this month.

I’m glad that it arrived (relatively) intact.
Have you ever built a shadowbox before?

Have you ever built a shadowbox before? Not per se, but I don't imagine it'll be overly complicated (probably far less complicated than my Hallowe'en prop coffin that gets dragged out this time of year). We have the powertools and the technology . cheers, Adam

Fair enough, then, GOMEZ ADDAMS. I just had this mental image flash by of MX portraying "Uncle Fester". It may take some time to recover... BTW, re: the wardrobe; upon seeing it my son immediately asked if he could wear it for Hallowe'en. It should be interesting . cheers, Adam

ADAM,
That’s funny; I never would have thought of essaying that role, so fixed was I on the character on LEX LUTHOR™!
I have no doubt that there will be pix aplenty of your lad, this year.
