wow, the timing is quick on this one. The use of the hornets and the way they move is incredible, I wish they had artist rendering's to go with the action, I can pretty well imagine what a wild ride it would be though. kind of like a free fall in a SR-71 Blackbird. Except it would probably be bumpier in the Blackbird. LADYTASS,
I was sorry to read of your family’s distress, but happy to learn that you got everything sorted. I was not aware that what happened to your son was the sort of thing that afflicted children, as I tend to associate injuries of that sort with middle-aged construction workers.
Your description of an SR-71 BLACKBIRD in free fall put me in mind of an excellent sequence during an issue of THE UNCANNY X-MEN™ by MESSRS. CHRIS CLAREMONT, JOHN BYRNE & TERRY AUSTIN.

OMG! LadyTass! What an awful string of thematic illnesses! I'm so happy that you've crested this cruicible and wish all concerned the speediest of recoveries. At least now we know that when LadyTass goes quiet major things are occuring.

There was some lovely alliteration in that paragraph!
Your final sentence applies equally well to TOPPER & GAZ.

Apparently, youthful ignorance of such things can be literally blissful.

Sorry to hear about that LadyTass. Wouldn't wish that on anyone but glad to know the troubles are passing.
Just checked the Finn Friday's page. They've updated the chapter list. Looks like DAM will conclude with part six, the next chapter is called EQUUS (no idea what that means).

I only know of the word EQUUS™ in connection with the play by MR. PETER SHAFFER, which was subsequently adapted into a feature film that starred MR. RICHARD BURTON, C.B.E. as DOCTOR MARTIN DYSART.
Hmmm...MekHorseTM?

Couldn't find MEK-HORSE in the dictionary but I found a couple mentions of MEK-HORSE in "PARTITIONS" and I found it listed in the FSQ DESIGNS page (though no links yet).

Not as long as past efforts I think. I liked it though, I can really feel it coming together and had almost forgot about Dani (from DAM 1). I think this is a real 'continuity buffs' treat. Can't wait for the series..... news soon i hope!

Can't wait for the series..... news soon i hope! I very much enjoyed this segment; it had a real "hit the ground running" feel & pace to it that the pre-credit teaser sequences of JAMES BOND 007™ films used to have when SIR SEAN CONNERY & MR. GEORGE LAZENBY were in the role.
The description of a drunken crow's flight caused me to *SPEWS COCA-COLA™ FROM NOSTRILS ONTO VDU*

I have encountered no difficulty understanding what you have written to be read by us, but thank you for your kind words.

I like the way it is progressing, slow enough to keep up with but you can feel the tension ooze from the corners, alot of little things, adding up to a big bang. I can feel it coming.
