Found this out from another board. They've started a weekly posting of new material for the technical manuals at www.titanrainbow.com/futtechtues.htmlIt's been going on for a couple of weeks now, so someone in the promotional department has fallen asleep at the wheel!

wow, this week's TPT is kind of freaky. i wandered around the image for a while before i realized if i clicked it i could see all the labels at once but funny thing is i clicked back to wander the cleaner image next weeks is the console, that sounds interesting. i wonder what that'll be like

wow, this week's is really cool. i did the same thing, clicking to see all the labels at once but then going back. it's definitely more fun that way
but i'm not a fan of the crosshairs effect, that's a little annoying. oh well...

In last weeks FINN FRIDAY - TOBC - FINESE part two: "He [FINN] peered past the seat, trying to look at the controls for this vehicle. They were small, crisp and elegant, deceptively so, he thought. Finn suspected the vehicle was a lot harder to master than it looked and he frowned at that thought." Today's www.titanrainbow.com/fsq/techanexhornetconsole.html is the console of the Hornet. It doesn't look deceptively elegant, crisp or simple to me. If I were suddenly sitting there facing so few dials with that view I think I'd have a coronary!

This week's Tech Tuesday is a list of shuttles, seemed like a pretty innocent thing but then someone on the SPACE forum suggested you google a couple of names (at least two in the same querry) and lo and behold the link came to light and it is hilarious! www.titanrainbow.com/fsq/techhtwltolexreg.htmlI won't spoil it by saying what the connection is, just make sure you google more than one name at a time. CHEERS! : )

reading through the new FSQ timeline, trying to compare it to the Space Oddity one. a few things that aren't on the SO one intrigue me. should we be trying to read something into those? are they clues? or just there for their own sake? Found this very interesting considering recent events:
The BIRTH OF THE NEW SOVIET actually make it sound pretty benign. kinda the sort of society in STAR TREK.
And thought the events of 2085 were very veryintersting. Is this background for Finn or just playfulness?
