GAZ,
Thanks for the intel!
I would not be the man I am without the ongoing influence of SIR SEAN CONNERY as a personal icon of masculine excellence & professionalism.
Are you implying that ELVIS COSTELLO is anti-Monarchist?

No implications intended, its a well documented fact. He was once cajoled into performing at a Prince's Trust by his then partner in crime Sir Paul McCartney and justified it in one interview only because "it cost each Toff a thousand pounds to attend" He's since relocated to the Republic of Ireland (with increasingly frequent trips to Vancouver Island). Cheers!

GAZ,
I was not aware of DECLAN’S loyalty to OLIVER CROMWELL.
Given that DECLAN himself is in the same income bracket as those “toffs”, each of whom has thrown away thousands of quid on hats in order to be photographed gadding about in Monte Carlo, I find his remark a trifle disingenuous, although it’s good that their cash is being put to better use for such a charitable cause.

Certainly its no worse than Sean accepting a Knighthood while continuing to support the break up of the Kingdom.

LEIA,
I had never thought of SIR SEAN CONNERY’S pride in his culture to be an effort to “break up…the Kingdom”, any more than BCC CYMRU™ was a propagandist effort to have Wales secede from the United Kingdom.
There was open displeasure voiced in both the House of Lords & House of Commons when SIR SEAN CONNERY was made a Knight of The Garter, but I’m sure that Her Majesty QUEEN ELIZABETH II did not make the decision lightly, any more than she did when she issued no public statement about the assassination of LADY DIANA SPENCER once she learned of it from M.I.6.
Thank you for causing me to re-examine the politics of The British Empire.
