Tomorrow on ShowcaseTMat 9:00pm (2100 hrs) our resident celestial being Malcolm Xeres appears as Oberon in the first episode of this short-lived series.
Slings and Arrows takes the viewer on a behind the scenes look at the theatre. Encompassing all the aspects of the theatre: management, casting, publicity...etc. It could have been a contender, however, the series was cancelled after six episodes.

Thanks for disseminating the intel about my work in SLINGS & ARROWSTM.
The programme was conceived as a 6-episode miniseries to be broadcast on THE MOVIE NETWORK & SHOWCASE, so it was never actually "cancelled", per se.
...In fact, I worked on an episode of SLINGS & ARROWS IITM: "BIRNAM WOOD" in DEC. 2004, but have not yet posted about it, for which I do most humbly apologise!

Thank you for the info Malcolm.
Slings & Arrows is a docu-drama(?). I hadn't realized there was a second series. Please keep me posted as to when they do an encore presentation.
As always, I do try to promote you in any possible manner within my means.

SIRONA,
You are welcome, as always, & your ongoing efforts are much appreciated by me.
SLINGS & ARROWSTM is more of a Black Comedy than a "docu-drama", but its style of parody could come across as documentarian, I suppose.
I shall be sure to share with you any intel I can glean about the programme.

Salutations Malcolm,
You have incredible vocal range! When your bass voiced boomed out the words from A Midsummer's Night Dream, the rest of cast voices were likened to mice.
Also, it is great to see you accredited for your role.
Sir Ian McKellen would be proud.
Cead mile failte
Side Note: This is no time for modesty Malcolm, you did a superb scene. Even the bard himself would be pleased.

SIRONA,
Thank you very much; that means a great deal, especially given how successful SIR IAN McKELLEN has been in his career, as a fellow Northerner who manages to get cast in both Shakespearean plays & comic book screen adaptations.
I was actually holding back vocally in those scenes, as the director feared that I would deafen his sound personnel, so I suppose my primary schoolteachers' efforts were not in vain.
You just made me feel as though I am worthy to work with MESSRS. PETER O'TOOLE, CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER, RICHARD BURTON, OLIVER REED, RICHARD HARRIS & BARON OLIVIER OF BRIGHTON - or @ least capable of doing a decent job as OTHELLOTM!
